Ghee is gaining popularity worldwide due to its high nutritional profile. Ghee has been a staple in Southern Asian cooking for centuries, and has recently become popular amongst the keto and paleo diet programs. But, what’s ghee, just? And, is it really any far healthier than butter? Ghee is clarified butter, made by eliminating milk solids from butterfat and this is why ghee is absolutely safe for people with dairy sensitivity.

Butter is a dairy product made from the solids remaining after churning whole milk or cream .It comprises both milk fat and proteins (lactose and casein). Ghee, on the other hand, does not have any milk proteins. The quality of ghee completely depends on its raw material which is pure cow milk.

Here are few ideas of cooking with ghee-

1.You can replace it with your cooking oil and it is safe for high temperature cooking.

2. Spread it over your morning toast.

3. Make sweet items with ghee to add a nutty aroma.

4. You can use ghee as your salad dressing as well.

5. Ghee or clarified butter is also perfect for baking purposes. Replace regular butter with ghee and you can hardly feel any difference in taste.

6. Another great way to have ghee in your diet is, making bulletproof coffee in the morning. Add ghee with grounded coffee, and MCT oil and blend in a blender. Drink hot. So, buy grass-fed ghee and start your daily cooking.
